Tatravagónka of Slovakia demonstrates innovativeness in an area of industry, where to date there has been limited scope for change.
The company manufactures railway wagons and has developed a new design in which an intelligent design approach and the use of extra high strength steels has increased the load-carrying capacity by around 1 tonne, which represents a weight reduction of 15 percent.
